Description

Dans la dernière lettre qu'il avait écrite à sa mère, il confie : « I love the mountains better than I say, and the sport, if only for watching the game and getting to know them ; and the music and scenery of it all ».

Mention manuscrite « and none his waiting dreams are satisfied, from this light to the [...]

Czech. Asia, p. 177 (« this work is comprised of short vignettes of mountains gametold primarily from the animals' point of view. Though fictional, there are numerous glimmers gleaned from the author's hunting experiences. »)- Czech & Valdez, p. 219.
